As times and seasons shift, I am called to teach, train, and equip the body of Christ and bring them to maturity. It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. (Zechariah 4:6)

My Story

I am Simone Oliver, a preacher, educator, author, and speaker. I also serve as a women's life coach and counselor at Transformed by Grace. In this season of ministry, I am called to teach, train, and equip the body of Christ to bring them to maturity. I preach the gospel, bringing transformative messages of God's love and grace. I work to equip the body to live abundantly (John 10:10) and bring the kingdom of heaven to earth by teaching practical application of the Word.  I have a passion for working with women and am a powerfully gifted retreat and conference speaker called to impact and empower women to live out their kingdom assignments.

My interest in reading and the power of language led me to complete my undergraduate education at New Jersey City University earning a BA in English/Literature. I taught English and Reading in the public-school system and was a featured educator on New Jersey Classroom Close-up. I received my Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary with a certificate in Women’s Studies and was the recipient of the John Alan Swink Award for Excellence in Preaching.

My husband Allen and I founded ReVision Ministries in 2012. Our desire was to see all people empowered to reach their highest potential while educating houses of worship on ways to fully embrace feminine gifts and become safe spaces free of harassment and abuse. As a minister and a life coach, I continue to facilitate a variety of workshops and would welcome the opportunity to serve as a speaker for your next retreat, conference,  civic or social event.

I love to write and have published The Pearl of God’s Eye, From Grace to Grace: A Prayer & Healing Journal; and was a contributing writer for the blogs For Harriet and Blessed Chix. My writing also appears in two anthologies, Gumbo for the Soul: The Recipe for Literacy in the Black Community and God Said I Am Battle Scar Free, an Amazon Best Seller. I am an honored recipient of the Phoenix Award from Harambe Social Services for my work in the field of domestic violence. As passionate as I am about all that I do, my greatest joy is life with my husband and daughter.
